To read and edit a new CD, click on the "New CD" button.

To delete a CD, first select the appropriate CD in the CD list and then click on the "Delete CD" button.

Note: This function cannot delete the contents of the CD itself.

After having read a new CD or choosing a CD from the list, you may edit its info. CD info consists of the contents of the audio CD and is needed to create a CD-playlist (q. v. Edit CD-playlist).

Necessary info:

·First, the CD name must be entered in the "CD-Name" field.
·Next, enter the number of tracks on the CD in the "Number of CD-Tracks" field.
·To make RPG-SoundMixer identify a CD, it needs the serial number of the CD. Simply insert the appropriate CD into the audio CD drive you have previously selected (q. v. Selecting a CD drive) and click the "Read in CD-Serial" button. When the CD serial number has been read in successfully, it will appear next to the button (it should be a number other than zeros).

Note: It is important that the inserted CD has been accessed by your operating system. This means that after inserting the CD, you should wait five seconds before clicking the button to allow your system time to initialize the drive.

·To edit the name of a CD track, select it, and change it in the "Rename Track" field below the track-list.
