| Note: The location mode does not affect background music or sound-effects for which a certain location effect (q.v. Creating and editing a new sound-bank) has been determined.

| The sound-event "cart journey" has been running for quite a while now. It contains the clattering of the covered wagons, the snorting of the horses, noises from the surroundings, and from time to time the travellers are clearing their throats and humming. Now the caravan leaves the plains and enters the mountains. The location mode is switched from "plains" to "mountains".

| => Suddenly, the scenario's appearance is changed by slight reverberation, echo, and similar phenomena, and the players notice that they are in a great mountain range.
