Importing/exporting sound-banks
Previous  Top  Next

Not only can you import, export, and save sound-events (q.v. Importing/exporting sound-events) but you may also save SoundMixer banks to file (export) or add files to the current sound-library (import).

Note: The file extension for RPG-SoundMixer's sound-banks is SBK, for example "Mysoundbank.sbk".

To import a sound-bank, choose the sound-event that the sound-bank will be included in. Then click the "Sound-banks..." button. In the sound-banks window, you can click the "Import..." button and open the desired sound-bank file.

To export a sound-bank, choose the sound-event the sound-bank is located in. Then click on the button "Sound-banks...". Now you can select the desired sound-bank from a list and click on the "Export..." button. Now you just need to enter a name for the sound-bank.

Attention: When importing single sound-banks, it is (for technical reasons) impossible to migrate links to other sound-banks (the settings determining that a sound-bank is played only after the start of another sound-bank). It's also not possible to migrate the links to sound-events (the settings determining that a sound-bank starts another sound-event; q.v. Creating and editing a new sound-bank). These settings have to be added manually.
