About scripts and what they're capable of...

A new feature is the ability to execute scripts. They offer some interesting additional possibilities using the program.

Scripts are ini-files which can be created and edited outside RPG-SoundMixer with a normal text editor.

With scripts it is possible to display short text sections in an additional RPG-SoundMixer window. These text sections can offer alternative options for a user to start or stop sound-events or link the user to another text section. The RPGSoundMixer tutorial/demo uses such a script.

To start a script, choose "Execute script..." from the "File" menu. In the window that appears, you can open a script file. This file is usually located in the "scripts" RPG-SoundMixer folder.

There are now unlimited possibilities for scenarios using the scripting system. It is limited only to your imagination!
